Credit Card Processing Specialists offers a payment processing service through a variety of payment options for merchants which need to accept credit card payments, check payments, and other types of payments at their location, online, over the phone, or in the mail. We provide the means for merchants to accept the transaction through a process which authorizes the transaction according to the guidelines set by the financial industry in partnership with major credit card and financial services including Visa and MasterCard.
The process starts when the customer provides the merchant with their credit card for payment. The merchant then utilizes our payment gateway to route the data through a secure transaction to the credit card network. The credit card network transmits this information to the bank which issued the credit card. At this point, the issuing bank will either approve or deny the transaction based on available funds and returns the result of the transaction back to the credit card network.
The credit card network relays this information back to us, where we are able to store the transaction and send them back to the terminal for the merchant to receive information about the transaction. If the transaction was approved, the merchant can then provide the product or service to the customer knowing that the funds will be processed within two business days.
